The only part of the performance I liked was when she landed in front of the audience. They do say play to the audience and I like that she held eye contact and was that close, other than that this solo wasn't that great, but don't get me wrong she's a great dancer, just a sour solo
This solo wasn't that great... there were a couple points of good extension... but overall it was amateurish, too many dancers audition for that kind of stuff in my opinion.
jessi was most likely eliminated because of the liability due to her health....I believe the judges& the producers thought it was too risky for her to conitnue...but who knows really.
lyrical hip hop was actually HOT at the time...(Allison&Travis S2...later this season Dominic& Sabra did a lyrical hip hop w/Shane) it was just the fact that a lot of choreographers hadn't dugg into it yet. Shane was the first to really bring that lyrical element to hip hop on SYTYCD
she's a tennessee titans cheerleader now- i just saw her on tv and thought she looked kinda familiar(even though she looks really different) and then she said she was on sytycd!
it is not a poor solo. Look at her control, extension, musicality, use of space! i think this solo was her way of showing us she can do everything, not just lyrical hip hop. (which at that time wasn't popular)
Yeah, now that I'm looking back at these videos, I'm loving the lyrical hip-hop she's doing. So I guess it just shows how styles come in and out. It's hard to believe it wasn't very popular, cause I prefer this style of hip-hop more!

I don't know if Jessi is just a bad choreographer, or what... but her solos on the show SUCKED. Seriously, most of this was her flashing her bare stomach and underwear to the audience. THAT is DANCING!?

Your logic is stupid. According to you, you can't criticize anyone for anything that you can't do better. So I suppose if I hear someon sing really off-key I can't say they suck, because I'm not a good singer, either?
