@kingricky71 Halo Reach will be the clear winner. I like Gears, but it won't be able to keep up with Reach. I even think that the new MoH will beat out Gears 3, only because Gears caught a lot of flak for having broken online multiplayer. Crysis 2 will finish last simply cause it's new to the 360, and most would probably prefer to play it on a PC for those that can afford a top-end PC.

Also Master Chief was not the only Spartan II to survive. Kelly, Linda, I think Kurt, and many other Spartan IIs made it off the planet. If you don't believe go buy Halo: The Fall of Reach and Halo: First Strike. You can also check Halopedia

Yes they lost at Reach. Reach was glassed. Master Chief is a Spartan II and did participate in the battle of Reach, he just wasent planetside.  He and two other Spartan IIs, Linda and someone else, went into an orbital space station to inact the Cole Protacal by destroying a ship. He was picked up in the Pillar Of Autumn and Crotana made a random Slipespace jump and they ended up at the Instalation 4, effectively starting Halo, Combat Evolved.

I don't want to sound like I'm dropping a spoiler here, but didn't they lose at Reach? I'm pretty sure the only Spartan-II who survived this mission was John 117. Although the book never said anything about them actually dying (although they are presumed to be KIA) I'd hazard a guess that there won't be much of the team left by the end of this game.

I like to point out that S3 first battle group was developed right after if not before the countless fights the S2 got into. B/c people dont find out about the Gamma group for the S3s a few weeks after halo 1..... its all way to confusing now.. and for those people who are hating on this game just because they never got out and tried to play new games should just pop a cap in both of their hands and stop games FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i read i description on the spartan 3s. they came after the spartan 2s and were a lot cheaper cause they were trained less and made in mass production. the team u see here is a skilled team that keeps returning from suicidal missions, which is what the spartan 3s are sent out to do. this is also the team u are on (yes u are the rookie again) and throughout the game u go on near death situations in which some of your teammates will die in.
