@freedombase He did not gain top secret clearance at all. Actually, the documents released were at a significantly lower classified status than the Pentagon Papers released by Daniel Ellsberg were. Bradley Manning would not have broken any oath by gaining access to these documents, which he was granted access to in his normal work. Bradley Manning also took an oath when he joined the military, as do all soldiers, to report war crimes.

Thank you for remembering and speaking out about the infamous treatment this SUSPECT (who has not been charged) has endured at the hands of those who are breaking their oath to uphold the Constitution. Pre-trial punishment is NOT constitutional whether by USMJ or civilian standards. The rest of the world must look at this and think there's right on Manning's side to have such harsh pretrial torture meted out to him. I do, otherwise they wouldn't be trying to crush him.
