Thank you for sharing. This song has always blessed me. I first heard this song when I was in my early twenties. The message of the song is very encouraging.
Wonderfull. We sing this song with our choir and it's always great yoy to sing this.
The first time I heart it, was about 30 jears ago. I lost the album and I'm very glad to find some of their songs here on youtube. Thanks for sharing. Also their song Sunshine and rain......a big gift you shared!
Hey July MAry.. I have the double album of their greatest hits on CD (all their stuff was originally released only on vinyl) Let me know if you want a copy :-)
I was privileged to see Choralerna live at SPree '73 at Earls Court in London. CHORALERNA seemed to burst onto the stage, (much the same way as ABBA did at the Eurovision the following year) they were sensational, memorable and relevant! I bought 2 albums and played them over and over! Thank God for You Tube! and thanks for the video!
I've been waiting for someone to put some of these songs on Youtube. Choralerna was an extraordinary choire from Sweden recording and performing mainly in the seventies. When I heard them first, I thought it was a black choire, but they're all completely white swedeshs :-). Thank you for bringing back beautiful and powerful memoires!
Okay okay...I thought the song said "that the angels CAN NOT sing"...being that they weren't washed in the blood like humans?????????? and is it "my father is rich in houses and land, he holds the power of the world in his hands"?????okay okay Good try though
Have you ever heard the Swedish version? One of the Choralerna records I owned was of a Swedish-language live concert. Power was called 'Frehet' (freedom).
Another album I used to have -- and would love to find again -- was Living Water, Choralerna's musical of the Book of John.
I've heard the original verson as well as the version mrsjesusgirl7 is talking about!!

@mrsjesusgirl7 So THIS is what you thought?
Apparently you got another version of this song. And the song tells us things in the figurative sense. Are these facts really worth talking about?
JulyMary01 1 year ago
@mrsjesusgirl7 Actually, you're correct.

what kind of musical is that?
I sung this song with a choire of about 120 people, and it was unbelievable. but we had it a little more slowly.

That sounds great!
I haven't heard yet about an official name of this kind of music. It's just kinda "European gospel music from the 1970s" I think ;-)

first of all thanks for your answer, but i didn´t talk about the kind of music...
it´s just, that some people here talked about a musical this musical shall be taken from...

Oh, well, I overlooked the "al".... Sorry.
As far as I know it consists of a few songs about the book of John.
I have six songs on my CD:
Living Water
Live Together In Love
But To All The People
He's Coming Back
Peace Inside
The Holy Spirit (Lead us on)

Im not sure about the sequence because my CD is a "best of Album" and the musical itself was on a special LP in the original.
The musical was apparently sung in the context of concerts when the choir did mission using the music.
I want to transfomate the other songs to videos, too.
JulyMary01 2 years ago
and the music is mostly composed by Peter Sandwall.

And I think I've six songs from this musical on my CDs. I am going to make in special a video from the song Living Water the next time.

You're welcome!
I always heard this song on the one hand from the CD but then interpreted by my mother at the piano since my childhood.
And it really has power ;-)
