Hey man, this is a very cool lesson! ive just created some beginner courses that you might want to check out on my channel. Its the Hub of a new website >> RexPearson. com << would love for you to check it out and let me know what you think
Excellent as usual my friend. Love the end where you say "practice!" Why are the Dutch so nice? I've never met anyone from Holland I didn't like. The girls are Really nice :-)
Thanks so much for the great lesson. Since you do such a great job of teaching, I was wondering if you had the tabs for Trampled Underfoot by Zeppelin. I've been trying for months and see several variations on Youtube, but they don't seem right.
Great lesson; Bedankt for posting that. It was the first video lesson I've seen where the instructor wasn't just blazing through it, and the viewer has to keep hitting the "rewind" and "slow" (if there is one) controls to see what the instructor is doing.
hey dude i been watchin your videos on Layla u r good man. Hey i got a question i saw your amp and i have the exactly the same one i got it yesterday what is your settings on because the sound of your guitar is awesome
Don't know if I'm gonna do another lesson on Layla. The chords for the verse are basicly C#min to G#7 back the C#min to D (short played as transition) to E. Then F#min to B to E to A, back to F#min to B to E and end on A to go back into the chorus rif. Sometimes instead of playing to chord he will do some licks based on the chord beneath but this is the basic sequence.
brilliant! thanks, this is the first thing i am learning and it's starting to come together thanks to your way of teaching that simplifys the technical bits without just shouting random letters at me like c#,rock on! ;)
Its what put me of at the start of playing to. Theory is cool but can get in the way of having fun. When you can break things down to shapes wich repeat all over in chords and runs is easier to get down. The letters will make sence later.
haha, mate ur a bloody spazz :P gunn guitar player i have trouble with the speed and shit like in thunder struck with the hammer ons aswell. ur a gun mate keep it up (Y)
This is by far the best tutorial yet! Everyone else just confuses me. Ill favorite youin hopes of you ever getting the chance to post a walkthrough for the rest of this song (the second part you played on your intro)! :)
