Actually this album was pretty good.. It's not on the same level as "Private Room" but it was most definitely a good album.. It came out around the same time R.Kelly, Keisha Cole, Keri Hilson, Nikki Minaj etc.. albums came out ...So his album got faded to the darkness around that time due to the releases of the other huge artists, but it was a good album my opinion..I love it.. My favorite on there are "Hot 16" "Body is the Business" "Kiss Goodbye" "Graduated" & "Walking on Water" the rest is ok

But they did have La Belle and Queen Latifah on there rosters and other reputable artits. Secondly Verve is not releasing "Waliking on Water" as the second single. They are releasing "Body Is The Business" as a second single. Avant is currently touring the cd in small venues in urban areas.

I have the new cd..however in my opinion this song SUCKS. I thought Verve would take a risk and release "Nightlife" or "That Dude" as a lead single. The new cd is great- lots of new and different beats that Avant has never worked with in the past.

Im sick of how all the good music is all underrated then all the crap that they play now a days doesn't make any sense. They never play music with meaning it's always music with no meaning and makes no sense at all. It might sound weird coming from a younger listener who only listens to Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Drake, and others but even the younger generation wants to listen to something with some meaning.

The only reason it's a low budget video is b/c he is with a new label...If u r a Avant fan like me then u would know that..Anyway they aren't putting any money behind him 2 promote this album..The album came out Dec. 7, 2010..I bought it & its a banger...He just lacks the promotion b/c they putting it behind these garbage rappers out instead of putting it behind real music like this!! Always been an Avant fan & I'm still ride with u homie..By the way listen to his new song "Walking on Water"

@EW2003 You are incorrect, First off its true the Verve is an up and coming minor label, so they dont have the money to promote thier artist like larger labels. But they did have La Belle and Queen Latifah on there rosters and other reputable artits. Secondly Verve is not releasing "Waliking on Water" as the second single. They are releasing "Body Is The Business" as a second single. Avant is currently touring the cd in small venues in urban areas.

I am mad that this song didn't get that many views, but I bet if you go to wack ass wacker focker fruitcup (waca floca flame) page, I bet he has over a million views for his trash! I've been a fan of Avant for YEARS & he is EXTREMELY UNDERRATED! I love all his music & I wish people really gave him the shine that he deserves!

when it comes to r&b, i listen to whoever i can relate to or vibe to, but they also have to stay releasing good music. i love j. holiday but he hasnt dropped anything good lately. ive picked up on new artists miguel and khalil. however i HATE trey songz, hes too processed and i personally find his music ingenuine, i cannot vibe to him. ive always had a solid vibe for avant though and cannot wait for a fresh new album by him. nice!

This song is like one of my fav songs EVER! I don't connect w/ the lyrics at all but the melodic arrangements, background vocals, production, etc. just...IDK! It does something to me, like emotionally. It's crazy! I'm not like really physically attracted to Avant but sumthin abt him intrigues the hell out of me! He seems like he's intellectual &a woman pleaser. Ppl PLEASE go get his album! I SWEAR 2 GOD it's the best album I've heard in the last 2-3 yrs! It's so fucking SPECTACULAR! AVANT4LIFE!

UPDATE just brought avants new cd the letter and it's very very good you can play all the way through. the last album i herd that you could play all the way through is r kelly love letter and now this. R&b will always be a lot better than other music. we as fans can't let people tell us that pop is hot when it's not. support our music.if younotice it or not. alot of OUR r&b singers are becomeing idependent artist.not just because of poor album sales. there learing the busines. so support them

Avant always been great. His last album wasn't all that good but I still brought it anyway he had some good and bad songs on their like,break your back.
as a writer and singer you have good or bad original songs and melodies in your head and you have to get them out. .not all are going to be great.that's why singers record a lot of songs for an album. if the whole album is good then you know that they put in the work for it to be a great album. he's off to a great start i will buy anyway

Hmmm...interesting. Who in the hell came up with the concept to this video? They need their ass' slapped. The video didn't go with the song at all! I love this song, but hate the video. It would've been great if he were singing about the guy cheating on the wife instead of the other way around. What's wrong with these people. The video should show what the song is talking about!
