Yeshua Ha'Melekh Ha'Yehudim, Ha'melekh ha'melakim ve'adon ha' adonim. The Jewish messiah. I am not worthy. From the tribe of Judah, the root of David. Yeshua hu beno shel Elohim. I am proud to say I am a messianic Jew, I believe in Yeshua and my ancient culture and traditions are preserved. I feel more united in Yeshua.
Excuse me but this is NOT a Messianic song. It's pure Jewish and has been sung for a very long time. I think it is great that Christians want to sing this hymn but at least give it proper credit as a Jewish hymn.
Thier singing has American accent I think. The accent seems to conform to American English style of speaking. But I could be wrong. Since I am American it's also my natural style of speaking.
Why does the description call this a Messianic song? It's been sung in Reform & other synagogues for decades, if not centuries. Though this might be a Messianic congregation in the video, this song is certainly not exclusive to that denomination. Nice version of the song, regardless...
xtian singers. see the cross inside of the Star of David.? Be one religion or the other....you can't be both. There is only one Hashem, not a 3 in one made up nonsense.
"Behold how good & pleasant it is when the brothers dwell together in Absolute Unity! " How funny that you would make such a comment so contrary to the message of what is here. G*D IS ONE ~ and that means EVERY ONE, ALL people of all Faiths, All matter and everything seen and unseen. Maybe, you thought the psalm was only addressing your little clan and not the whole of humanity? Maybe, that's why the planet is still at war with itself :(
Buna! I see the flag in the background. It is so exciting to see Messianics in Romania. My Jewish ancestors are from Romania. Being a Christian with Jewish background, this song video makes me very happy.

While many don't realize, Jews and Christians are the 2 scattered Houses of Israel, the southern and northern kingdoms. The great scroll of the prophet Yeshiyahu (Isaiah) says:
Isa 11:13 The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.
These are exactly the feelings that unfortunately still exist today between Jews and Christians, but as the prophet said, they shall stop, and I would add, soon.
explain this (your comment) to me. I was reading similar scriptures in Jeremiah today and was wondering who Ephraim is. Some one else commented to me that the Northern kingdom Judah will be the remnant saved while Israel(the southern kingdom) will not. Also, I get what you are saying about the Christians and Jews.
The Scriptures teach that there is only one entity, one ekklesia/assembly, one body, one man, called Israel of God or Commonwealth of Israel into which we are grafted. There is NO such thing as "Israel" and "the Church". This Israel was "born" at Sinai and "reborn" after Yeshua's (Jesus') resurrection at Shavuot (Pentecost).
Unfortunately this Israel before Yeshua (Jesus) was born, was divided in 2 Kingdoms, the Northern Kingdom (10 tribes) called Israel and the Southern Kingdom (2 tribes) called Judah. The Northern Kingdom is also called the House of Ephraim or Joseph.
The Northern Kingdom was scattered and called "Lo Ammi" or "Not My People" by God, it was basically divorced. The Southern Kingdom of Judah was not divorced. Yeshua (Jesus) repeatedly said that He had come for the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel (10 tribes of Northern Kingdom). One of His main missions was to remarry the divorced House of Israel. Because the Law (Torah) forbids a man to remarry the same wife, the only way to do it was to die, and to resurrect as a new man.
So the Northern Kingdom was scattered mainly in the West (USA), said to be given to the ways of the East (paganism, idolatry, Yoga in "church", etc.), but promised to multiply. For 2 thousand years God has been dealing mainly with this House of Israel. One of the main missions of Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) is to regather and unite the 2 Houses back into One.
The Jews today represent mainly the Southern Kingdom of Judah. This is why USA (Christianity-Northern Kingdom) although not perfect still loves and helps the State of Israel (Judaism-Southern Kingdom). In the end like Sha'ul (Paul) says, ALL Israel shall be saved (the 2 Houses and the grafted-in Gentiles united in ONE).
who are the "say they are Jews and are not"? I was reading that today in Revelation 3. What is the "synagogue of satan"? I looked up the Greek form of those words and interestingly, Christ uses the Chaldean form of 'satan' instead of the Hebrew form of 'satan' and synagogue in Greek is sunagogue.
Like Sha'ul (Paul) said in Rom 9:6 "...For they [are] not all Israel, which are of Israel:". A true Israelite is one who has the seed (Yeshua-Jesus-the Word) in them and obeys, whether natural or wild branch.
Revelation was most likely penned in Hebrew and later translated into Greek, that is why you find words like "sunagoge" and "satan" which are Hebrew/Semitic words. Chaldean is a form or Aramaic, another Semitic language like Hebrew, so words are similar. Greek borrowed these words "Satanas" and "Satan" and they are pretty much the same thing.
starchix you are right. they dress up christianity as something jewish, but in fact it it a subversion of jewish thinking. Js for J were set up by southern baptists who think JC will not have a second conming until the jews all convert. They should be avoided and reisted by all proud jews
It saddens me to see such perversion. Christianity is fine fore christians but to try to turn Jews away from the Holy Covenant is spitting in G-d's eye
Hine mah tov umah nayim shevet achim gam yachad. Hineh mah tov umah nayim shevet achim gam yachad. Hine mah tov shevet achim gam yachad. Hineh mah tov shevet achim gam yachad. How good and pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together. How good and pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together. Good and pleasant for brothers to dwell together. Good and pleasant for brothers to dwell together... (and so on)those are the lyrics.
