I did not pray the two herniated disks he had in in his back because I did not know he had them. I prayed in English for his protection from hurt harm and danger, then I prayed in tongues and he was healed by God right on the spot. We don't know what to pray for all the time but Holy Spirit does. Read Romans 8:26. It will help you to understand better.
The power and benefit of speaking in tongues has been proven to me so many times that I have lost count. God has used me to heal people by praying in tongues, he has also used me to cast out demons by speaking in tongues. I have heard many people use this as justification for speaking in tongues to be verified by science. Those are primarily the people that need to see this video. I was showing that in fact, no, it's not verified by science, and if they want to show evidence of their nonsense, this does not count.

Hello. I watched your video and I hope my comment will help you understand tongues better. I once prayed for a classmate and his family. I did not pray the two herniated disks he had in in his back because I did not know he had them. I prayed in English for his protection from hurt harm and danger, then I prayed in tongues and he was healed by God right on the spot. We don't know what to pray for all the time but Holy Spirit does. Read Romans 8:26. It will help you to understand better.

The power and benefit of speaking in tongues has been proven to me so many times that I have lost count. God has used me to heal people by praying in tongues, he has also used me to cast out demons by speaking in tongues. The fact is, you, nor I, as humans, have no right to judge anybody or anything. You're not better than anyone shown in that study, and vice versa. When ranting on anything, you have to analyze if you have any right to make an angry commentary. Does anyone speaking in tongues anywhere in the world, have any effect with your own personal life? I don't believe in respecting utter nonsense. This is also not a faith issue, it's a fact issue, since this whole medical study was supposed to verify the phenomenon. I have heard many people use this as justification for speaking in tongues to be verified by science. Those are primarily the people that need to see this video. I was showing that in fact, no, it's not verified by science, and if they want to show evidence of their nonsense, this does not count.

Let me try to answer your question.I'm not an expert, but let me try. The difference between praying in tongues and regular praying is the honesty. When you regular-pray you tell God the things that you want and a bunch of other stuff, right? When you're praying in tongues you seek and reveal your deepest needs. Sometimes people say beautiful words during prayers, but those words are not comming directly from their hearts. That's the difference. Besides, you don't pray in tongues all the time!

It is not a language at all. There are no verbs, no nouns, no structure...It's not a language. As I said before, it goes way beyond that. Another point to note, is that this is a scientific study. A peer reviewed paper must have been published. How's an idiot with access to an MRI, contriving results science? Yeah, I understand that part, but it's not really a big deal when you really think about it. You can just try to decipher it (I'm sure I spelled that word wrong), just ignore those people (easy), admit to them that you don't understand but don't constantly pick at it (not accusing YOU, but some people do that), or you can just not get upset about it when a misunderstanding does happen. No big deal.
