The end of this game made me have nightmares as a kid after watching my brother play it. I played this game and loved it but i was almost petrfied of it when my brother bought it. Its funny looking back now but this game really strikes me too this day.

Took me two tries before I came to find a walkthrough. First try, I turned right after the second door, second time I tried to save, you know, that makes sense, beat the boss, save the game so you don't die from the touch me I die Game Over...fuck. What a nerve-wracking way to end the game.
It always irritated me how SLLLLLOW she ran. I got right to the end of this game and died because I didn't know the way to run away from that freaking thing.
@jgoth08 yea, if you don't use the panel, the final door, where you escape will be locked and you're fucked and have to start all over by beating the boss again.

@AMT51992 M8000's freaking hardcore. That was my finishing gun too, modded up with the damage stats of all the guns I'd been collecting over the course of the game. Was somewhere around 80 attack.
Wish I coulda fit it with a Burst, but I never found a shotgun D=
@SlurpeeTigger Er, about that. My EX save file won't load, and that's the quickest way to get back to the sewer. When I click it in the Load menu, it makes the same noise as trying to discard Maeda's voodoo charms. Any idea what's up? D:

Its pretty fucking hard if you are below level 34. Tips for those under or at lvl 34: Grab as many damned cures and revives as you can. the Baby is easy: Stay near and shoot at least 1-2 shots then run from his ring. 2nd form: Liberate, then kill the wings, it gets really easy after that. Mature: Liberate, thats all i say.
Last: Easy as hell, use liberate and pick off at him while using haste.
I was level 37. In my complete walkthrough, I was at level 40, but with a higher defense. HIGHER DEFENSE makes a BIG DIFFERENCE. But your strategy is dead on.

I just got the G3A3 rifle at the hospital and move all the stats from my other rifle to that one, same thing with the armor....when I got a new one, I move all the stats from the old armor to the new one. If you see my new LP series, you will see how I did it.
This boss was weird it appears as if he has he has a set of balls in the back. I'm really not sure, this boss was a total pain in the ass. but he did look pretty cool.

I don't think just falling into water would save Daniel. If all his mitochondria are working at once, then that means he's also on fire on the inside.

As with All RPG SquareSoft has done, Trust me, you know when you have face The FINAL FINAL BOSS of the game. Not to spoil it, as I am making a walkthrough....there are 2 FINAL BOSSES, one you must complete in your 1st run, and another you must complete on your 2nd playthrough.
i beat this whole part on my first try i used the m8000 for stage 1 and 2 then i used the rocket launcher i also used a liberate on stage 2 and stage 3 on 4 switch to meadas gun so you dont have to switch after you get the bullets
First time i played that (when i was like 7 years old and was playing the japanese version...) when i had to escape from it crawling i'm direction it was freaking scary...The last thing i played on PSX that came close to it was Silent Hill or Mr.X on resident evil 2 (the big ass robot)...specially with this scary ass music...
LOL THIS WAS THE SCARIEST SHIT!!!! The first time I saw it crawling towards me, I thought I still have another fight with that half-dead Ultimate Being. I ran up to it, and it flipped and I died and I was like shocked. Then when I retried several times, I was soooo scared I ran like hell all the way and it keep got me in the end and I thought I was not running fast enough. But after like 5 times of trying, I then realised that I need to turn the boiler thingy!! I was sooo relieved!! =D

I'll see what I can do....I was gonna show an extra video showing you can defeat the 2nd day boss without seeing the BIG WORM. Maybe after I finish this LP, I will do a video showing the 5 areas where you can die from the UB, although 1 way was showin by another person who did an LP series.
I think just one time would be cool enough for me and anyone else curious to see what happens if you get 'caught', but you'd get an A+ for all 5. Haha.

No. If you try to use the phone after you defeat the ultimate being, you will die. You will have to run through the ship in one try opening the doors and taking the right path, and don't forget to set off the explosion in the boiler room or else you won't escape.
I recently got the non-Ex ending, and I was amazed by how sadistic the developers must be.
No Map + Massive Levels = No Sense of Direction
When you finally DO get to the end, you have to put up with the Ultimate Being.
Thanks to the wonderful door mapping and terrible direction controls, I died several times running to previous rooms.
Thanks to the unskippable cutscenes and long Ultimate Being (three or four forms) battle mixed with no checkpoints, I was punished for trying to finish.
That's because the mother that Eve controlled throughout the entire game, Milissa Pearce, was an introvert herself, as mentioned in the game's instruction booklet, under the "Cast" section.
But I used a rifle with 2x fire, burst, and 1st draw ability. I really am not a fan of the double and triple command, but when I do my new complete walkthrough, I might do it for the EX game.
If this is your first playthrough then why are you using the shotgun?
By using the m8000 and not using your three bullet combo you save time and you also deal more damage per hit which equals your three hits in 1 shot, but is also more quicker.
Aya: I know you want to continue living. After all, you were just born. But... I want to live too! Like all other human beings!
U.B.: Just say the truth, you wanna kill me to finish the game and see the ending.

@AMT51992 M8000's freaking hardcore. That was my finishing gun too, modded up with the damage stats of all the guns I'd been collecting over the course of the game. Was somewhere around 80 attack.
Wish I coulda fit it with a Burst, but I never found a shotgun D=

@Densoro There was a burst gun in the Chinatown Sewers in that maze. My complete walkthrough will show you where it is.

@SlurpeeTigger Er, about that. My EX save file won't load, and that's the quickest way to get back to the sewer. When I click it in the Load menu, it makes the same noise as trying to discard Maeda's voodoo charms. Any idea what's up? D:

What level were you? I have something to say to everyone:
Its pretty fucking hard if you are below level 34. Tips for those under or at lvl 34: Grab as many damned cures and revives as you can. the Baby is easy: Stay near and shoot at least 1-2 shots then run from his ring. 2nd form: Liberate, then kill the wings, it gets really easy after that. Mature: Liberate, thats all i say.
Last: Easy as hell, use liberate and pick off at him while using haste.
Escape: Im doing that right as im typingXD

I was level 37. In my complete walkthrough, I was at level 40, but with a higher defense. HIGHER DEFENSE makes a BIG DIFFERENCE. But your strategy is dead on.

I just got the G3A3 rifle at the hospital and move all the stats from my other rifle to that one, same thing with the armor....when I got a new one, I move all the stats from the old armor to the new one. If you see my new LP series, you will see how I did it.

This boss was weird it appears as if he has he has a set of balls in the back. I'm really not sure, this boss was a total pain in the ass. but he did look pretty cool.

That is because that was Melissa's body. Eve was awakened and Melissa was taking some medication which made her weak enough for Eve to take over

As with All RPG SquareSoft has done, Trust me, you know when you have face The FINAL FINAL BOSS of the game. Not to spoil it, as I am making a walkthrough....there are 2 FINAL BOSSES, one you must complete in your 1st run, and another you must complete on your 2nd playthrough.

i beat this whole part on my first try i used the m8000 for stage 1 and 2 then i used the rocket launcher i also used a liberate on stage 2 and stage 3 on 4 switch to meadas gun so you dont have to switch after you get the bullets

First time i played that (when i was like 7 years old and was playing the japanese version...) when i had to escape from it crawling i'm direction it was freaking scary...The last thing i played on PSX that came close to it was Silent Hill or Mr.X on resident evil 2 (the big ass robot)...specially with this scary ass music...

LOL THIS WAS THE SCARIEST SHIT!!!! The first time I saw it crawling towards me, I thought I still have another fight with that half-dead Ultimate Being. I ran up to it, and it flipped and I died and I was like shocked. Then when I retried several times, I was soooo scared I ran like hell all the way and it keep got me in the end and I thought I was not running fast enough. But after like 5 times of trying, I then realised that I need to turn the boiler thingy!! I was sooo relieved!! =D

I'll see what I can do....I was gonna show an extra video showing you can defeat the 2nd day boss without seeing the BIG WORM. Maybe after I finish this LP, I will do a video showing the 5 areas where you can die from the UB, although 1 way was showin by another person who did an LP series.
1) Grab the phone to save
2) Turn right in the 2nd area
3) Go to the right in the 4th area
4) Forget to set off the boiler
5) Touch the creature
Those are the 5 ways to die in the final area.

I got caught one time today.
If it "catches" you it will leap on to the air and do a kung fu kick on you and it will die along with you.

Actually you could use an emulator and use the special quicksave options.
I played this on the emu and i just beated it today.
those quicksaves really helped me alot wen i had to test out strategys for the diferent bosses.
Expecially Sheeva.That was one hard ass dog.

No. If you try to use the phone after you defeat the ultimate being, you will die. You will have to run through the ship in one try opening the doors and taking the right path, and don't forget to set off the explosion in the boiler room or else you won't escape.

I recently got the non-Ex ending, and I was amazed by how sadistic the developers must be.
No Map + Massive Levels = No Sense of Direction
When you finally DO get to the end, you have to put up with the Ultimate Being.
Thanks to the wonderful door mapping and terrible direction controls, I died several times running to previous rooms.
Thanks to the unskippable cutscenes and long Ultimate Being (three or four forms) battle mixed with no checkpoints, I was punished for trying to finish.

Yea, and when you die escaping, you had to fight Ultimate Being (all its forms) all over again!

Exactly. Other than little flaws like these,
the games was very playable, and one of the few games that ever really felt polished.
Although I can never help but feel like it was a sister-game to Final Fantasy VII.
Eve looks a little too much like Jenova.
Daniel is WAY too much like Barrett.
Aya is alot like Cloud, as well.

That's because the mother that Eve controlled throughout the entire game, Milissa Pearce, was an introvert herself, as mentioned in the game's instruction booklet, under the "Cast" section.

I will be using the triple command when I fight Maya and the Queen Bee, but will remove the 2x fire from my rifle, so I will do 3 shots per turn.

But I used a rifle with 2x fire, burst, and 1st draw ability. I really am not a fan of the double and triple command, but when I do my new complete walkthrough, I might do it for the EX game.

If this is your first playthrough then why are you using the shotgun?
By using the m8000 and not using your three bullet combo you save time and you also deal more damage per hit which equals your three hits in 1 shot, but is also more quicker.
