From what I read, the people who both their note unlocked and put it on T-Mobile only get Edge speeds, not 3G, can anyone confirm this please I really want this phone.

Try Teakker it will fix the APN settings for you automatically,I use this app when i flash a new ROM on my phone.Down it via market using wireless or google tweakker.apk and tranfer it to you phone install and done :).

@noahsanchez21 Well these days MOST almost all new android phones have 4g and im highly certain the droid 4 will have 4g and seeing as the droid series gets a better CPU every gen It will be either on par with the rezound or maybe just better just wait for CES its not far away

@noahsanchez21 Thats about a month away and knowing Android phones, they'll be outdated by then and there will probably be some big beast thing(following typical android here) 6.5 inch screen 2.5ghz quad core processor 8 GB ram etc etc

In all seriousness though, get the rezound. HTC seems to make better phones and support them better as well, Motorola doesn't stand behind there products much and performance will be similar.

Can't you download these settings directly from AT&T? I know at least in Sweden you can go to the service provider's homepage and enter your phone number and you get all the settings downloaded to your phone in a sms/mms. AT&T should have something similar, no?

@kaykayloves2sing Well, first of all you are going to have to jailbreak it. Then just watch one of the many tutorials on youtube. If you have an iPhone 4, just go to your local tmobile store and ask them to transfer your number to a micro sim card.

@MercherTV You can't really do this with Verizon unless you are importing a CDMA phone. Most phones from other countries are GSM phones that only work on AT&T and T-Mobile.

@L3THLM1G1T I'm not Jon, but I'd definitely go for an iPad 2 (or wait until Feb. to see if Apple does do anything as the rumor mill suggests. As for USB ports on the iPad, the USB in on the Camera connection kit has been used to support things such as USB keyboards, USB wireless headphones, etc. as long as they don't require too much power. Might wanna check it out... :D

The video title is really vague. Should have been something along the line of "How to setup internet access / APN on your unlocked devices... etc."

And for the people saying "where's t-mobile?" - just google search T-mobile APN settings. It's really not that difficult people.

Last, I find it funny that android OS (don't know about WP) do not have a settings wizard of some sort. (Good old symbian just detected the necessary settings automatically)
