Socom isnt about run and gun. its more slow paced strategy. but dont get me wrong, that doesnt mean u cant run and gun. If u chose to do that u might end up dying quick then u have to wait till the next round as most games 80%+ have respawn disabled.

I wish more people wouldn't have been so quick to trade this title in because the patches improved the game by infinite amounts and the maps remain perfectly designed even after a designer flip flop.

Yea I was still pretty young when the original Socom games hit the market so I never had the chance to play them. The only Socom I had played prior to Confrontation was Socom 3 so I'm still fairly new to the game compared to some, but hopefully once Zipper gets back into the Socom game everything will get back to basics like you said was promised in this past edition.
