  • serious message here

  • totally pleasant

  • Damn right no dislikes! A song like this makes it apparent just how fantastic the 1960s were to music.

  • great song but i am elderly and never in my life did i doubt the lyrics. these were clearly spoken. who ever put the lyrics on here is a idiot.

  • it's all about Depends :\ QC

  • Is there a way to use this song without it being muted? We tried setting it to a valentine's video but youtube muted the audio. We didn't know it was owned by Warner, like everything else. Just curious if there's a way to use it without getting in trouble or having it muted. It's the perfect song.

  • @TheEmuExpress Try using Flashgot and Download Helper-Available with Firefox browser. Then convert from FLV to a format you can use

  • At 13 holding hands with you're girlfriend and this song playin' on the radio we worked after school to make a little money for the show or the bus home for me,we would walk around for hours and blame it on the bus that never showed. This song still sends a chime of love many years later to the beautiful girlfriend i once had. Never thought i'd be sittin' here in Ft.mac listenin' to this song thinkin' about them chimes ringin' louder than church bells and hopin' she's doin' well! Great song!!!

  • I always say this make for a good wedding song any one else agree?

  • @Desiree50able Agreed completely.

  • @charlie8575 you have good taste Charlie.Love&Peace Des.

  • why this band not in the rock and roll hall of fame? probably because of the connections they had w/ organized crime.

  • If only this had been true in 1968 ...

  • This is for the girl that makes my world go round

  • One of the best harmonizing groups of the 60's. They were awesome!

  • so sweet, so smooth..

  • FOR YOU NICKY!!!!!!!!

  • the greatest song in the world!!

  • i cant sing this hell of a song without tears welling in my eyes

  • I always loved the tight and lush vocal harmonies they did. (like 2:04). Just don't get that part of the music. Very simple and VERY singable.

  • This song reminds me of the Hieneken commercial.

  • Oh...this takes me back to being a little girl sharing a room with my older sister....she HAD to study at night and she just couldn't study without the radio on..loud...drove me crazy. Each nite after sleep finally won, I feel like part of the music as I drifted through my dreams. For good reason, this song stayed with me thru the years...always thought this is how love would feel. Beautiful.

  • My husband just sent this video to me.

    ....I'm in love....♥

  • This is good shit, this is music that doesn't exist today - what happened to society.

  • thank u

  • never ever will there be music made so beautifully.....fuck all 2011 music.....that shit gonna play out and all these new artists are gonna have there own sex tape or be on celebrity rehab...Fuck justin bieber...whats wrong with the blood sucking media nowadays

  • @JunkWaffel33 Thats why I bought an ipod, so I don't have to listen to the crap nowadays. Also so idiots don't critized the fact that I'm a black woman who likes this song and others people don't think I should or could like.

  • @lesababy Why would they criticize you for liking this??? So silly! Music has no color or race!

  • @lesababy Keep on Keepin' On!! Good taste "never" is bound by race, class, sex or whatever!! Just stay the "Beautiful Person" you are! Ignore the "real fools"!! ;) xxoo

  • @lesababy More power to you! People are so F'ING ignorant!!!! So because you're black you are only "allowed" to like/listen to a certain type of music?? That's complete BS.

  • always loved this song. back in the early and mid 1980s when this was a staple of adult contemporary radio i always thought there was one woman in this group. it remined me of a song greg brady of the brady bunch would like.

i have a cd by them but it doesn't tell about the personal or professional backgrounds of the members.

  • @The096757 MORON

  • To each her/his own...thank you so much for the post...awesome song...awesome video!...back when bands, singers, we...dressed nicely...held our partners when we danced...songs ended in about three minutes. This is my favorite Association song...back when we still had music instead of noise!!!!...Tunesmith

  • Does anybody know what brand of keyboard Jim Yester is playing? I think it may be a VOX but I'm not sure.

  • @JayBBluejay it's a Hohner Pianet

  • @ritchieuchiha81 Thanks for the info. Actually, on the session for Never My Love, it was Larry Knechtel, part of the "Wrecking Crew" band of session musicians, who played the Hohner Pianet on the recording. Knechtel, who also played bass guitar and guitar, passed away in 2009. Larry will be missed.

  • Awesome sound quality mate, good work.

  • Nicely done video for a wonderful song.
