Some people are faster at getting videos up -- no mystery; comes with experience. I didn't post links because, like others have said in these comments sections, this is not a video about Doren's message, but his tactics. Doren floods YouTube with video after video (This site is apparently his primary source of income) and it takes people with real lives much longer to make counter videos.

Still not the point of this video. As for healthcare. To a certain extent, I agree. However, we screw ourselves by not making preventative care a priority. This leads to to the extreme cost/low performance situation we are in now. For really low income people, preventative care is a priority, it does work, and it saves a great deal of money. Even Bush understood this and increased the budgets for various low income clinic programs.

Why not? What harm is there? Obviously it would not be expected that proffesional drivers stop(couriers/post/public transport). Everyone else just has to leave a little earlier, get a little fresh air and maybe even meet other people. If you can't handle walking use a bike. It is only for one day and you never know you might actually like it.
It is voluntary, so no-one is expected to do anything. But I would suggest you try it once, even if only for a little of the day(morning/afternoon). And no, I doubt a truly car free day would happen (again, proffesional drivers and long commuters).

Terra, with all due respect, I'd say this is how you LET Lee Doren work. My personal opinion is that you let Lee play too large a role in your life. I subscribe to his videos because I find him interesting, but rest assured that I disagree with much of what he says. Don't assume that a high subscriber rate and viewership equate to his success in indoctrinating his audience. Better, I think, to stick to your own videos and your own viewpoints.

It's in really bad taste. Nobody ever used Venomfangx's real name. The fact that it is in the title and in the video, while he maintains a pseudo-name. Even if if I couldn't stand the guy I wouldn't put his full name in the title of a video.

Lee Doren, aka HTWW, released his own name and revealed his channel when he became the "Crasher-in-Chief" of BureauCrash. Therefore, I'm not releasing any information that hasn't been already released by Mr. Doren himself.
VenomFangX never released his last name to the public of YouTube, but I have seen several videos addressed to him that used his first name in reference to the kid.

That's not true. A lot of people knew Sean's last name and even his address. One person put all that in a video, which got removed for having his personal information in it. I know that a lot of people know his real name, but that doesn't justify putting it in the title. This stuff shouldn't be so personal. I don't see this as a freedom of speech movement, I see it as youtube drama. I respectfully disagree with him constantly on the environment and he doesn't block me.

No, HTWW isn't brilliant, he pulls crappy arguments from his "black hole" and doesn't care if the argument is valid.
Those who respond are carefull to investigate these claims, and bing evidence and good arguments against the claims from HTWW, this takes far more time than direct uploading some BS nonsense (like HTWW does).
A moron can claim more falsehoods in one video than a scientist can disprove in 50.

Lee Doren provides references of greatly varying quality, all to fit the agenda of his employer, The Competitive Enterprise Institute.
CEI argues facts don't matter, it's rigging an argument to persuade the gullible, which you can find referenced on their front webiste page.

The point of this video is that most people don't keep up with current events enough to carry any length of conversation. If you have to "research" your thoughts on things like the economy, healthcare, the current administration or anything in the public eye; It just shows that you do not even have enough information to hold a valid point of view on these topics.

No. So, the other night I created a prototypical family with no insurance, included the actual plan costs that an agent friend said it would cost, included the other expenses that a family in my area would encounter at realistic levels (rent in my area, etc), and got a good understanding why lower middle class people without employer provided healthcare are having big problems. So, if i were to do a piece of healthcare, it would have to start there.

Still not the point of this video. As for healthcare. To a certain extent, I agree. However, we screw ourselves by not making preventative care a priority. This leads to to the extreme cost/low performance situation we are in now. For really low income people, preventative care is a priority, it does work, and it saves a great deal of money. Even Bush understood this and increased the budgets for various low income clinic programs.
Healthcare has been socialized - just poorly.

Several years difference in average life expectancy between much of Europe and the US says it's not a great system.
Hospitals over the world have different specialities, a lot of Americans travel to Europe too, that proves nothing.

It is simple, the disemination of misinformation is quick and easy, but the responses and correctoin take much longer. As TR explains it may take two or more days to construct a rebuttal to refute a video, in which time there have been 2 or more videos posted with more misinformation.
tl;dr - It takes longer to refute falsehoods than to make them.

Are you suggesting that he is purposely distorting the truth? Anyone can claim something is not true without factual evidence. It is also quick and easy.

It is just that he always claims to have done his research when on some occasions it is very clear he hasn't. That is because this ISN'T lee's video. If I want to try to disprove/counter one of his arguments I will do so in HIS video. This is about the way he makes some of his videos, nothing to do with any specific argument. And yes, on occasion he has been caught 'distorting the truth' (lieing). I don't have the same stance as him but that is not the problem presented here. The problem here is him lieing on occasion (again it does not apply to all his videos, only some).

Why not? What harm is there? Obviously it would not be expected that proffesional drivers stop(couriers/post/public transport). Everyone else just has to leave a little earlier, get a little fresh air and maybe even meet other people. If you can't handle walking use a bike. It is only for one day and you never know you might actually like it.

It is voluntary, so no-one is expected to do anything. But I would suggest you try it once, even if only for a little of the day(morning/afternoon). And no, I doubt a truly car free day would happen (again, proffesional drivers and long commuters).

Treat it as a joke, as something funny or humerous. But still encourage some to take part, again it is one day and you never know you/they might actually get something from the experience. Without jokes the day is a whole lot duller.
