  • Okay, so yeah my parents ar none religouse, I attend some of the catholic masses somtimes. but just basicly to realy get an inside look at it. i have always been interested in wicca, and have done some research on it. Um I guess what I can say about it is, I like it better than catholisism, cause it is kinda more oriented around ancestry. my ancestors were Irish, and before ST Patric came to ireland we were all pagen. So yeah I love your posts cause they realy help me learn a lot about wicca.thx

  • i will always be a wiccan the catholics are stupid they dont make any sence and they brain wash people to believe everything

  • @6060HarryPotter Not all Catholics do, and it's not only Catholics that do, if that makes sense. Other religions attempt the same kind of thing, but whatever religion we're talking about, not everyone in that religion feels that way. There are some very understanding Catholics and Christians out there. I happen to know several. I just wish there were more.

  • @cutewitch772 i get what you mean "you are the devil" i hear alot as i wear my crystals and pendulums and symbols out of my shirt

    )o( blessed be )o(

  • hey :o).

I just stumpled across your video and I found it pretty interesting... but I've got a little question: You said that you wanted to apologize by yourself for being mean to your brother... but why did you wanted to apalogize to god and not to your brother? This isn't meant to be offensive but I just don't understand this little part of your video :/.

  • @Pumpkincakegirl Haha, no offense taken. I have apologized to my brother, of course. I meant it as an example of atoning for anything that would require forgiveness from deity. It was a bad example, since in this instance my first responsibility is to the human being in question. But for something not involving other people, then--I wanted to be able to ask forgiveness directly rather than going through someone else. Bad example, good question.

  • This is great. It's really opened my eyes. I may be young and 'naive', but while young, build foundations right? Create a core? Thanks. :)

  • @PsychedAsCheese Right!

  • I'm a Christian but I'm not Catholic, and I TOTALLY agree about the confession thing!! But I really don't think you should discount Christianity because a specific denomination is wrong about a few things.

I just wanted to say that there IS balance in Christianity. Just because most of us call God a "He" doesn't mean that we think men are better than women, etc.

Anyway, for a good example of what real Christianity is like, I recomend reading The Hiding Place, Ted Dekker's books, and the Bible.

  • @MissEmcat24 I do not discount Christianity at all, actually, except that it isn't right for me. I think it's a perfectly valid belief system. I also would not say Catholicism is "wrong," just that it is wrong for me or certain people. I do not think that Christians think men are better as a rule, that would be a stunning generalization. But there is no balance in the gender of the Divine or in light/dark.

I actually read a lot about many religions. I like to learn. But I am pagan, either way.

  • @cutewitch772 Just wondering... what about Christianity do you feel ISN'T right for you? I mean, I know you had a bad experience and just didn't like it, but maybe it was just the people you were around. But Christianity isn't about the people who follow it.

Me too. :) I find all types of theology and philosophy fascinating!

  • @MissEmcat24 Haha, it is never about one bad experience. If that were true, I would not recognize that each person and each situation is different, I would simply generalize everything. My personal beliefs have always matched those of paganism and Wicca more specifically, albeit an eclectic, solitary version. It's not about not liking the religion. I have great respect for it. So much so that I feel it would be rude for me for pretend I follow it when I don't.

  • @cutewitch772 I'm glad that you respect it when so many people these days going around bashing Christians because they think we are dumb for believing what we do. :) I really don't know enough about Wicca to make any judgement on it myself.

  • @MissEmcat24 And I'm glad you refrain from judgement, and also that you say "I believe," instead of speaking for all Christians. I have had Christians come up to me, say I'm evil or going to hell, and tell me to read the Bible. The thing is, I actually know about Christianity, whereas the folks who approach me don't know anything about what I believe. I think we all need to learn what we can about understanding others.

  • @cutewitch772 Thank you, I agree. :)

  • And by the way, great video and love your countryside!!! Blessings, Kris

  • Hi Cara, just finished off your third vid. I too was raised in a Catholic family (even if we as well had readers and healers back in my generations as well) and didn't like the strictness and limits they exercise in the Church. It’s a bunch of rules that tend to limit your free will and spirit I think, even if I understand that some things have been put to morally teach people.. but as you imply with the confession part- a lot ople, and that will always end up reversed, even if it is meant good.

  • great video....we all find our path =)

  • This shit pisses pagans off! Stop it! haha! your hilarous :)

  • this shit pisses pagans off! right on! i hate litter!!

  • I love your videos! I definatly agree with you about the whole confession part of christianity. I was raised Presbytarian and i recently converted to Wicca! Thank You and Blessed be =)

  • This shit pisses pagans off. Lol. Just found your channel and love it. Your a very amazing person and hope you the best. Blessed Be.

  • axiom of medium

  • where do you live? its so beautiful! : ) too bad people cant find the garbage or even better, a place to recycle.. i was grown up a christian but i dissagree with most of it.. i recently heard about wicca and i seem to have the same beliefs with everything i know about it so far.. thanks for sharing your story by the way! : )

  • I love when you said I already knew what I believed deep inside me. You are obviously smart. Stay true to your self and good luck on your path.

    Blessings~

  • i have no idea what my faith or religion is. i'd like to kno more about paganism tho as it was the first religion ever where i live. but religion doesnt matter much its only one side and everyone has more than one side like you said :) i have a great love for nature and hate the way people disrespect it. i really wish for the old days before brick and roads. to make nature my home an be wild an free. i've never fitted in this modern world.

  • There are alot of things in the catholic church that are not biblical. You said you didn't like being catholic, but what about just following Jesus?

  • @GirlFromTheNet Nothing of the Christian faith fits my beliefs. My beliefs are inherently pagan, which is why I did my research and figured out that's what I should be following--because it already is what I believe.

  • @cutewitch772 @GirlFromTheNet Oh okay, I was a little confused because you said you wanted to pray or ask forgiveness from God without having to go to a priest which totally makes sense to me. I guess the catholic church totally turned you off. I'm not catholic. I'm a just a follower of the teachings of Jesus christ. BTW I like your vidoes, although I'd never become a wiccan it's interesting to learn about so I will be watching more of your videos.

  • @GirlFromTheNet religion doesn't matter...personally i have a big mix of new age & pagan beliefs...love ur channel cara!

  • @hippieways Religion doesn't matter to me either. :O)

  • I was raised Catholic and I don't like structure eather. I'm spiritual now and I don't like the idea of having to go through someone else to get close to God, you can have close connection to God just by meditating and carring him and her in my heart. I have some friends who are Wiccans and i've been hearing alot about it. I the more I think about it the more I want to give it a try. As a small child I loved nature. and I think its great to reconnect to it again.

  • Litter pisses off more than just pagans. And for what it's worth I no longer get angry about litter, I simply pick it up. To me there is no real use in complaining. Not saying that you were complaining or making judgments on what action you would or would not have taken. I say that b/c the tone of comments and the intent behind them can be lost online or misinterpreted.

  • @SarahsAdventures Yeah, I know. It was meant to be a joke about how pagans are viewed as tree-huggers and some people took it as though I meant only Pagans care, which of course is ridiculous. I'm always picking up litter, either way. That can was too high for me to reach but after I recorded that I found a big stick and knocked it down so I could recycle it.

  • @cutewitch772 Big sticks ftw! haha, good job!

  • 5 Starz !!! U R Awesome Cara :o)

    You're right... that Shish Does Pizz us Pagan's off ;o{

No pop canz in the bushes... easy enough to put em in the recycle :o)

Blessed Be to Yah and All =oD

  • @darklunardevil I'm sorry, but that's bullshit. Faith is something you feel. You can't help who you were born to. There are sects of Wicca that are familial, but I am not part of them. You cannot force someone into a box created by where they were born and who they were born to. Point blank.

  • @cutewitch772 exactly i have people at my school who tell me that i should just go with the religion i was born with ( most of them being christian). All i have to say to that is if they want me angry and pissed off then they can have me that way, because forcing me to something I'm not a part of will only make me miserable.

  • @SeiKarma Well said. In this day and age, we are not limited to what we were born to. That goes for religion, social class, occupation, everything. In the past, we would have had to follow our parents' religion as well as take up their trade. Today, we are afforded our own choice.

  • @darklunardevil ... Hmmm... heard that perspective, but it may just be a li'l... hmmm.

To each our own with the warmest of Blessings and cheers :o)

    ...Bro.-LightShadow~

  • @darklunardevil why dont you show proof of this before saying it

  • @darklunardevil ...no. no you don't. You can dedicate yourself to the Goddess no matter what you were born as. If you believe in reincarnation (as I do) then how can you say that a person must be of that bloodline? We are speaking of spirituality, of the soul not the flesh.

  • religion is about spirituality, not fitting in. Basically people should take care of the planet (not litter cause that's gross) and learn about things.

  • yea u tell them!! = }

  • i love that last bit about pissing pagans off XD lol

  • I wouldn't know why that coke can should piss pagans off, is the can not a part of nature ?

Shouldn't we just accept it as part of the whole rather then condem it as a thing apart from the world ?

If nature can accept the can then why can't they ?

  • @XeroMarianne It's litter. It doesn't belong outside where it can hurt animals and things like that. It belongs in a recycle bin!

  • @cutewitch772 no one ever said nature was all love and sunshine, nature is cruelty and suffering too.

A deer hopping around in the forrest can trip, snap it's ankle and die from the resulting wound, nothing unnatural about that.

The can is not drawn from nothingness, but refined from natural elements which all have a part to play in the natural cycle.

  • @XeroMarianne Except that it's man-made and is now harmful to the environment. And I hope you don't think you're scarring my tree-hugging heart by telling me animals die, because I'm also a realist about those things.

Littering is harmful to the environment. Garbage is not natural or oftentimes biodegradable. It is a human construct, and we should do our part to reduce our negative effects on the Earth. End of story.

It's a cute end clip lots of viewers enjoy. Don't over-analyze, just chill.

  • @cutewitch772 Nature is so much more deadly then we humans could ever dream of being.

One flash from a pulsar and this whole planet is sterilized in an instance.

Mankind is as harmful to nature as a butterfly, we can do nothing to harm the world.

  • yea got kinda the same resons for being wicca.

  • lol hilarious ending (:

  • gorgeous area, where is that?

  • Neighborhood down the road from my house.

  • what state is that?

  • Lol well of course it does, and it should! But since I was talking about being pagan, I thought it would be a fun joke. By no means was it an exclusive bit.

  • I love your vids!!!

    Blessed Be

  • Awesome Video. You now have a new subscriber. Blessed Be.

  • being a witch is all ive ever known....

  • hahahaha so funny. i was wondering if anyone was gonna see you talking to your camera walking along lol.

the coke is priceless. i thought it was in a bush. then you zoomed out hahaha

  • wonderful vid! the ending was soo funny and very true! Blessed Be! )O(

  • hahaha loved this video,

    the ending was priceless

it pisses me off too when people litter!!!

& I felt the exact same way. When I found Wicca, it was like a switch when on and I became whole. It was always in me, I just needed to find it.

    Blessings

    xo

  • Great video!

  • Also, Damn right about that coke can! D: <

It's so impossible to drive the idea of having some respect for the planet in to the thick skulls of half the world.

    Best wishes :]

  • I like you, you have the courage to speak up despite the friends and family you have that may oppose your choice of spiritual path and that calls for a degree of respect :]

I feel the same way about the structured bits, I love the fact that Wicca is open and flexible and I think that is one of the most attractive parts. There aren't and shouldn't be any silly strict rules and regulations that we have to abide by and it's Demeaning to be told that you have to do things in a particular way.

  • Heh, my mother converted before I was born and I was baptized as a Roman Catholic as well. I hear a lot of pagans complaining about how terrible christians are to them and my bible studies weren't really that bad. It just didn't click with me, you know? I see what you're saying about confession and all that. I didn't like how you /had/ to do something a certain way. What I like about paganism is it's a more personalized path. The forgiveness seemed to random to me and I didn't get it at all.

  • wow what a great way to get into the craft

  • Lol well, I doubt they're exactly the same, but I appreciate the sentiment. Switching religions based on not fitting in, I feel ya.
