Male and female brains as babies aren't different, it's what happens growing up that results in differences in their function.
A lot of people who support "natural" differences cite hormone differences, but hormones can change when you're in a different situation, so nothing is set in stone.

Nobody knows what causes sexual orientation, but sexual orientation appears to be a lot more instinctual and hard-wired than gender roles, which is what you're talking about.

The two aren't, despite what many would have you believe, always related. Homosexuality is visible in every species that has been exhaustively studied, which is to say that sexual orientation doesn't begin as a lifestyle, but something as (however eventually) necessary as eating and sleeping. Even if you never teach a child how to eat, that doesn't mean it won't be hungry.
THAT all means that it belongs in an entirely different category from behavior, ability, and intelligence.

But I was wrong, you were right about one thing: the part that determines sexuality, whether a boy will like a girl, or a girl will like a boy, appears to be something fundamentally different or pre-programmed as a part of puberty, same as who will get breasts.
But the diversity in development between genders shows this isn't always a matter of girls vs. boys.
I overlooked that, because it's a difficult area to study - it's effects don't show up until puberty, and there's no "gay brain test."
