  • is this the original cast?

  • it sounds like jack johnson could totally do a great cover of this!

  • Hmmm... (: Haha

  • Wait... I didn't think Duncan wrote the lyrics. Am I just crazy? I could've sworn he just did the music...

  • @beautifuldayx0 yeah steven sater did the lyrics, and duncan wrote the music around them xoxo

  • are these demos available commercially, like on a CD or iTunes or something?

  • if this is 19th century it takes place then how can they turn the stereo on?

  • @tswiftchick - - They pretty much break the scene to go into song, and comment on issues using contemporary terms several times in the show. It's to draw a comparison to today, and make more of an impact on the audience I suppose. The line's just as impactful, just consider it breaking the fourth wall, in a way.

  • fuck ya.

  • thank you @LegendaryEd and @GleeArgentina this is my favorite song in the show, which I am obsessed with I was just curious and confused.

  • @tswiftchick they wrote it so the songs would be contemporary and breaking the 4th wall

  • I know now thank you

  • I love the percussion!

  • Anyone know where I could download this version of the soundtrack? Loves it! Well, most of it.

  • I loved how you edited this!

  • Wow! I like this version!!! It's nice and relazing :)

  • "shoot up some you in the you of some song" but duncan, what does it MEAN?

  • I myself think it is a reference to masturbation, since before it he says "I go up to my room turn the stereo on", and often people turn the stereo on while they masturbate to cover up the noise.

  • no yeah, i get that, it's the "in the you of some song" that i don't get...

  • Yeah, so basically he's saying that he's doing it with the song, you know?

  • he is saying that he is wanking ova a person in the song (in the you of some song)?

doesnt make as much sense as it did in my head lols

    x

  • i know it.

  • This song is written in code, I swear.

  • lol, that is so funny. but it probably is, im still not sure who "my junk" is

  • i love this version. it's amazing (:

  • It's very relaxing to listen to it this way, with the percussion and all.

  • This sounds kinda like Jack Johnson- but I love it =)

  • i like this song too and the way duncan sings it. it's something i'd definitely listen to if it was on the radio or sumtin. totally fits his voice. amazing. love it.

  • it is so easy to harmonise over his voice, and it sounds really good! i really like all these demo recordings!

  • I know! Singing with this recording sounds SO good because of the harmonization!! :)

  • cool

  • Love it! I love the different beat to it. =D
