Deep space imagery from Hubble:-. Color is added to highlight the different gases and structures in space from a infra red picture. Unless you understand what you are looking at, you just seeing pretty pictures but a lot of the image is computer and manually corrected to produce a "picture" Joe Bloggs can be better illustrated too. well depends how you mean it mate, i think life would be pretty boring without the possibility of discovery. Let alone individual omniscience. I think one would pretty much commit suicide... Granted, some things, like a cure for..well everything, would be great.

@unfohyes- why do you care what he believes? i have taken many microbiology courses and the complexities of life have brought me closer to god, just not in the traditional sense. and even if it was proven that a god did not exist i would still pray because i like the idea of a higher power and that we are here not simply because we are nowhere else, but because we have purpose. maybe ignorance is bliss, but it makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside so why would you want to take that from me?
