Something you need to learn about casting a movie: You don't just choose actors because they are hot or famous or whatever. Like, I saw in a comment below that Josh Hutcherson should play Percy. And that is BS. I mean, he looks nothing like Percy (neither does Mitchell Musso, by the way)! I mean, sure, you can just hand him the script and a pair of green contacts, but that isn't what casting is about—your job is not to simply pick a child actor with a lot of publicity and cast him in the movie of an acclaimed novel.
