All of the songs that Hinder makes are either personal or figurative experiences. He may not have been cheated on or he might have been, but we do know that this song was made for the entertainment for our own listening.... or for money.

@BandGeekXP I think lips of an angel is about not being able to move on from a true love, not cheating. He says sometimes he wishes it was her in the next room and she makes it hard to be faithful, but never anything to imply he's doing more than answering her phone calls when she's upset.
Well, you gotta realize not only do they do songs based on true past events , but they also make songs to fit their audience's needs so that they can make money.

I been with my boyfriend for about a year, he cheated on me more than twice, and lied to my face about it and I suspect he is still with one of the girls, he's 19 and the girl is fuckin 14! I still love him unconditionally, I know he desveres me to do it back at him, but I don't want anyone to feel this way, not even him, it's THAT terrible. I know it has to be over, but I still love him to death. So not all girls turn heartless.
