Most people think Hotel is his weakest album, but honestly next to Play its really the only one I can listen to. I'm not really into ambient music....and I find it odd that on most of his albums he doesn't even sing on them, so this is a nice change and a direction that should have taken Moby to serious heights...but instead he was criticized for it and he went back to making downtempo lounge music.
i just went to a techno/electro festival where he played a lot of his tracks with more techno like bassline, it was incredible! He is so gifted, he went from slow music to absolute rocking tracks within one hour. He might won´t put them on album anymore, but he plays them live ;)
Laura's voice at 3:34 is just amazing!
