Thanks a lot for uploading this beautiful song.Although I am not very much a Bollywood fan, I saw this film on video a long time ago when I was a kid.My mum borrowed the video tape from our Pakistani neighbour in Kuala Lumpur.Bollywood movies are also popular in Malaysia(not just among the Indians in Malaysia but also among the Malays).

Can we say that the depiction of friendship in the movie is inspired by a pathan honor code (in which case could you elaborate about this friendship code ?) ? Are they also any reference in the movie to any literary text (of the arabic, farsi or any other tradition) ? Can we find such story of qurbani in the sake of friendship in any literary tradition ?
