i cant select my model... as soon as i hit control A it gose away

I couldn't find a forum for the product anywhere..

How do I paint in a size smaller than 1 without zooming in?

I need to create long lines across my model and size 1 is too thick.

Feels like a good program ! Need a forum to ask questions though.
