@owlman113 Depends on you. I think it's a matter of size and ecosystem, but functionally, the iPod has more capabilities like Microphone and Cameras.

@datterboy I want this for it's size, like a tablet. I would want to read, as that is a biggy for my iPod right now, and music looks divine, as I have a clip mp3 for when I run/workout. As far as games go, I just want minecraft, and that's on there. So, I really want this, also, I want better battery life, and can this watch youtube with decent quality, and will I be able to get the honeycomb youtube when CM9 is released?

so this is just a general, since the color does not have a mic input, can you use something like a set of skull candy mic'd head phones that have a mic built in (both mic and head phones run through the same jack) as a substitute so that you can make skype calls through the 3.5 mm headphone jack

@marinesnip rooting unlocks the certain capabilities of a device that is running an android OS..you should definitely look into it if you're getting a nook color. and as for ROOTING in general, there is always google for that

And what music app are you using that lets you stretch it to its page's length? And last, how do your fb updates show up like that? Mine shows me only one at a time. @hari1086 This is the calendar widget that comes with Launcher Pro Plus. LPP also allows you to stretch widgets. Honeycomb is behind on that one. The FB is also a LPP widget. If you get the free version of LPP you won't be able to use the widgets or resize.

@felishamishelle I use mine ALL the time. Possibly more than my laptop. The only place where it could be significantly better is web browsing. Everything else is pretty sweet.

@13Keepers yes you can, but it won't be as fast as running it from the internal memory. Nook is awesome, you can do all this without modifying your Nook at all by running it thorugh an MSD.

@yogboy24 You have to sideload it. Netflix is not officially available for the Nook or the Encore.

i installed cm7 on my nook color. but there is some extreme battery drainage overnight. How can i prevent this battery drainage? airplane mode or something like that?

@speedfreak0007 Your best bet is to turn off wifi and data synch.

@daAppaholic It should work. Make sure you have a compatible version of the Netflix APK and do the proper build.prop mods.

@Tifa85 No idea. I've not played with HC on Nook since it is built on a preview version of HC.

@Tifa85 This is Cyanogen Mod 7 so there is no NOOK anything in it but the hardware. So no Nook software at all.

@castro524 This is on EMMC. Speed is much better that way and so no need to run multiple OS on my Nook.

@brianf21 These are soft button skins that you can flash. They are not part of a theme but I am sure there are themes that include them.

@speedfreak0007 You wouldn't really want an image of mine since it has me registered on Google with it. All you really need is CM7 and LauncherPro. The rest is up to you! I've listed the apps I've used and you can build it up from there.
