I was on a job is Arizona operating 651E's where we had a D9L and a D10N pushing us. My scraper was down for the day so I jumped on a 631E going through the same cut. I was double pushed and loaded in something like 5 seconds. It's amazing how much of a difference that second dozer makes.
Great video... Back in the day(70's) I remember running a 651 on a large job with (6) D9Gs in the cut. Your were told if you... If you not loaded in 42seconds you would be fired. Well it was not uncommon to be pushed by (3) D9Gs but one day as I was the only scraper in sight (2) more jump in. Yes, the dirt will really fly when (5) D9G are pushing. We are so lucky we did not rip the bottom of the bowl out from under that scraper... Oh to be young again...
