Overeem get the 1 spot for winning and not Fedor? I assume it's become of his recent loss, however, what before the tourney can u honestly say Overeem's done in MMA as a heavyweight before the tourney the would warrant the top if he wins it and not Fedor if he were to win it?

@Silentknight81 If you look at how either would get to the Final that is how I am breaking that down. Fedor will probably be ranked two instead of one, Overeem on the other hand would have to beat Werdum, likely Fedor, and Barnett to take the tourney. That is tough competition and considering his body of work as of late, even though he arguably beat only one Top 10 opponent at the time, that run is impressive. The HW division isn't as deep as others, so there are only a handful of top opponents.
Josh Barnett is still a fighter in his prime he was the #2 heavyweight until he tested positive for steroids. Bottom line is Josh Barnett could beat Dos Santos, Velasquez, Carwin, Lesnar, with ease considering he was a former UFC champion, at a young age and he was no where near the talented fighter he is today.
