oohhh! so thats how eruption is played! i was doin it wrong, i just learned it like an hour ago. it's not as hard as everyone says. but i bet if i recorded myself and listened, it wouldnt sound even half as good as u did. That was amazing! also, i think the reason why you didn't get 1st place is cuz that wasn't your original shreding. i bet you can do really well without using eddie's compositions. again, what an amazing video!

Shit, I hope your not refering to me as one of the spoiled ones. I MADE this guitar with 300-350 bucks which is out of commission at the moment because I cant afford the parts to fix it. Im still playing on my first guitar which was around 100-150 bucks and hardly has any frets left on the fretboard. But I agree, I would play ALL DAY LONG if I had a good setup!

Ha, I did get the Van Halen guitar method on dvd by curt mitchel. you can find about all of that here on youtube i think. Thats perfect. Consistency in your playing is better than practicing 10 hours just on saturday. Try to play at lest 10 minutes a day. and if you wanna clean up your playing, start practicing with the distortion cut low.

oh and LEARN THE PENTATONIC SCALE...it awesome!
