ok this is not the best way to make ur teeth white becuase it costs alot of money, and the baking soda thing does work but it does harm to ur teeth, just go get a whitening tooth paist and use that for awhile, it works but takes a bit so if u want healthy teeth do that

it's just that, it only goes up to the natural potential teeth color of yours.

i mean, mine was genetically not as white as most people,,so i don't get that hollywood smile i was hoping for..

so i would suggest others who want super white teeth to just go for veneering instead :)

well I am a dentist and the baking soda and the perioxide without a dentist control would white ur teeth but you are destroying your enamel . the prorpotion of the b.s and the perocide shold be regulate before u use it otherwise the enamel get broken and let the decay appear easier

the practice of "oil pulling" whitens your teeth.. google it.

i used to do that then brush with ordinary soap together with a bit of baking soda; then simply rinse with peroxide afterward. while keeping up this routine, my teeth went white as office paper.

and theres no pain like those expensive treatments & products.

If you want a good chair-side or office supervised bleach, you need to use a 45% Carbamide peroxide which is tray-delivered. Or there are some really nice products that use a 38% Hydrogen peroxide which is a chemical activation. So you get quick results, and it helps overcome tetracycline staining. The product is maid by Ultradent, its called Opalescence Boost.

Light activation whiting is the WORSE way to go. The reason is because the high heat of the light causes your teeth to become dehydrated. This causes two problems, more sensitivity and a faults sense of whiting. When your teeth become dehydrated they become a chalky white..for a week or so, so you think the procedure worked.

You can try mixing an equal amount of baking soda and water till its gets foamy. You brush your teeth with that like you would normally. I don't suggest it if you have sensitive teeth.
