  • If only quake simulators were even close to the real thing.

  • why did they open the door

  • in case of earthquake it is highly recommended to open all doors because they can get stuck and trap you inside the house/room

  • @ampm78 Actually its pretty useless because the shaking will slam the door. It did that to my bedroom during a 5.4. The house swung to the side and the slammed shut.

  • @TheBassguy1 Maybe it's not very clear, but you can see in the video that they put something (a doorstop?) under the door to keep it open...

  • @ampm78 Sorry about that last sentence, i forgot the word *door* lol. Maybe a door stop would help but on tile or hard wood, the slide very easily. We have a door stop in the laundry room because the door likes to stay half shut and the ground is tile and the door stop just slides. It works but not fully. And besides, if the quake were big enough that youd have to leave the door open just in case; rubble would act as a wall anyways. Its Mother Earth's way of punishing us for taking all her land.

  • @ampm78 Mother Earth will make sure we wont get out lol. And little quakes, those are reminders? Heh idk.

  • @ampm78 All the doors in my house are cheap lol so they arent that hard to break through. I can punch 3/4 of the way through not even at full strength. But I guess it would save a little money to just keep them open in the first place huh? lol

  • earthquake warning? lol wont their hands get hurt =D i don't know how much good a pillow will do you, maybe a harhat would be more useful.

  • so funny :D why anybody would really have pillows in kitchen
