This is the same song that the hit spinoff "Go Away, Little Boy" was made from. Nancy Wilson sang it, then Marlena Shaw recreated it. This brings back great memories of "American Bandstand" and other such TV programs. Thanks a lot!
The 22nd #1 song on the newly formed Billboard chart that is now known as the Adult Contemporary charts. It was the final #1 AC hit of 1962 and first #1 AC hit of 1963. What would 1963 bring on this new chart? Only time would tell.
I had the opportunity to see Steve Lawrence in person at the Garden State Arts Center many years while still living in NJ. I was in heaven. He still has a lovely voice and one of my favorites. He has endless voice, as well as his lovely wife Eydie. I hope they come to Wichita, KS some day.
Just a beautiful song! Anything from Steve Lawrence or Eydie Gorme can only be beautiful! I always loved seeing Steve and Eydie on the Carol Burnett Show when I was growing up...just outstanding! Thanks for posting!
Taking a ride down memory lane filled with genital touching behind the tool shed as well as near the dressing room at the local swimming pool :)

This is what Woody Allen at first sang to Soon Yi. Then he said: "Aw, screw it!"
