I love the way Otto flings his bow tie. I also get a kick out of the security guard twirling his gun. This is a very funny movie, especially the first half.
That picture didn't work.. But i don't think they look as sterile and similiar or do they?
Anyway, in my country there are these cheap-ass brands that have cheap labels and the names are always ''sliced pineapple''-style of names.. But that isn't what i meant.
I worked a shitty telemarketing scam job once in college. This lady I called swore at me for a couple of minutes. I asked her if she was done, and then I snarled FUCK YOU and hung up. She called the manager to complain. He asked me what I said and I responded FUCK YOU and FUCK YOU! Best quitting moment of my life!
The "Boss" in this scene was Alex Cox's real life boss when he worked as a work study student at the UCLA Film and TV Archive (where he came up with the idea for the movie after his own car was repossessed).
I love this scene and how all the labels on items in this movie are self descriptive. There isn't even a 7-Up in the scene lol. This movie made me realize Harry Dean Stanton is a great actor and I ended up checking out Paris, Texas (1984) with him, which is another great film.
Yeah.. it's about that time of the week to watch Repo Man again.

Wouldn't it be great if every product in our stores would be labeled just as ''beer'' ''food'' or ''sliced peaches''.

This is a beer can but you can find everything: milk, sliced ananas, bread, fish, soap...
For all the items: monetacheride com/prodotti

@gombie youtube doesn't allow link to pages so you had to add 3 W to my link...
I discovered that Ralph's, in the eighties, used the same packaging.
