Yeah, that came out looking nice. Really liked the little flourishes on the rifle and clothing.

It looked like you had the Cintiq in your lap at one point, it seems too heavy to do that comfortably, but I'll have to try it.

Thanks, yeah I usually keep it in my lap, I've got my chair and stuff adjusted so that it isn't too uncomfortable, I prefer holding it to working on the desktop with it.

Very interesting to watch the progression. I was curious though. Did you hand-drawn then scan in or did you draw it twice? I couldn't quite tell.

Cintiq 21ux, thats about 2500 dollars IIRC.

You can get them from design studios fairly easily if they close their doors.

so whats the story behind this guy? When i watched this being drawn I was inspiried to write in an NPC in my world war II themed tabletop rpg game...

haha, he doesn't have any story I'm sad to say. I just felt like drawing a guy with a gun. I ran a steampunk game about 6 years ago that I loved, I've not found a good group since I moved all those years ago.
