Sun Rays Coming from East during Sunset in North Texas

That's a phenomenon called anticrepuscular rays. Anti because the rays are seen opposite the sun. It's beautiful and very rare to be caught on camera. Good job.

@atlan61 yep, I have that in my info box beneath the vid, but dude, this 100 days of 100 plus heat and no rain is NOT normal...there is nothing normal about what is going on in our state with what the weathemen call a heat bubble...we've had high pressure systems, but if you trace all the food production areas, they are almost all in trouble: Australia (wheat), Texas (cattle, wheat), Kansas (corn, wheat) Midwest (flooding of prime crops by Missouri & Mississippi)... Saw the same thing in Gilbert Arizona. I took pictures and did a video, it's on my channel. But I am beginning to think this was seen worldwide. I saw it four evenings in a row, the first time was the strongest appearance of these beams. There is NO way they are those whatever type of clouds they are saying...no way. Good video

@jbreezes yeah, that's why i think so many of us are seeing them...i give that explanation in the info box under my video...i dont want to spread disinformation, and when i was uploading this i still didnt have an idea of what it was, but while i was uploading, i googled it and came up with a scientific explanation, but i DO believe that the reflective material in the chemclouds, which are shown in the dark northern cloud here, could create that effect! Thanks for that observation....

Cant the light of the sun not fill the whole sky? If so, when on the horizon, horizontal beams of light can extendall the way from west to east, at sunset... especiall with a load of cloud and moisture to allow refraction ;()

I dont understand Ur quandary... there is no light source in the east & those beams of light are the colour of the sunset... if it is a reently occuring phenomenon and paranoia hasnt just got U gittery about normal things maybe there is a chemtrail connection... it doesnt have to be moisture that refracts the rays.

Hi to my LoneStar sister! Nice capture of the rays. I saw that last year...in August. When I saw them, there were also rays coming from the West as well as the East, and they "met" overhead...it was the strangest thing. ArizonaPublic put up a video of this and I think Sheilaaliens did too. And a YT person notthatbad did one too. The rays I saw were pale pink. Must have something to do with all the geoengineering. Looks like beautiful country out there....
