i cant install ADT, it says "'installing software' encountered a problem"
so, what can i do? i looked up the correct repo, and i installed everything apart from Adt, whitch doesnt work...:( can someone please help me? i just want to try myself out in programming java...
"ordinary" java code will not work in an android phone. You need to import a couple of extra classes (android.app.Activity and import android.os.Bundle) and the UI uses a different toolkit so you need to import different classes depending on the app's functionality (hello, world uses android.widget.TextView for example). There is an emulator, google search "android SDK". It's the first hit.
can i use ordinary java code and let it work in an android phone? is there an emulator? hehe the reason is that i dont know how to learn the android kit/classes. if you guys know of a way to learn those pls share it to me and our other android friends. thanks
is there something like an interface builder for android apps. so instead of writing xml code to create the buttons, images, etc, i can drag and drop them?
It could be nice if you put the next video in the description or numbers on each video title (THANKS A LOT, IT HELPED ME)
