I was thinking of doing a similar thing, inside windows 7 it would be pretty easy to use netsh within a program for this, output serial commands to a microcontroller with a stepper motor.
I would really love to make myself one of those baby's. I have just ordered a antenna a few days ago.. 26 db Directional antenna.. would be great for this project :P
But I will probably have a servo or stepper on up and down also...
can you tell me what the architecture of this antenna ?

No it is controlled by an arduino, it is controlled by a controller comes with the motor, but it can be made easily.
26 dbi antennas seems to be bigger than the cantenna, so it will need a bigger motor.
btw,i'll post all details of this project as soon as possible.
