  • good day! during the vegetative or mycelial stagge of the portabello mush. what is temperature range? and for fruiting stage what also the temperature range?....want to grow portabello mush. but im in the asia part of the world....Thanks!

  • to grow mushrooms, we should have dark, wet, humid and little bit warm temperature right?

I'd like to grow some mushrooms for hobby.

  • guys have any magic mushrooms

  • sweet! Love mushrooms!

  • Very interesting!

  • the moment pot and shrooms become legal, the price will come down.

it's expensive due to the "danger pay"...

  • i live in rising sun md lol

  • Most mushrooms sold in supermarkets are packed in styrofoam trays wrapped in cling wrap. Seems a little environmental unfriendly. Just hope that someday they can switch to some sort of biodegradable packaging.

  • portobello, what a waste. spend your time on some cubensis haha

  • yeah seriously psilocybin all the way

  • great drug

    much healthier than alcohol

and an amazing medicine against cancer

  • if they get cold enough .. xDDDDDDDDD

    his eyes are crazy

  • drugs sshould be legal this is ridick u lous

  • no drugs mentioned in this video lol...he is growing portebello edibles.

  • oh,thats sad :(

  • informative ... has been proven that sores can be collected in outer space

  • mushrooms are good protein i eat them every day.

  • @HellVomit09 lies mushrooms dont have protein

  • Want protein ? EAT INSECTS !!!

  • Some mushrooms are great sources of protein. These, Agaricus bisporus, I believe have negligible amounts if any though.

  • @Davethemusicmaid shi'itake mushrooms do dumbfuck

  • @clarkstkilla the mushrooms in this video dont dumbass, and heres the nutritional content of Shitake Mushrooms - dried Serving Size4 (15g) Carbs15g Protein 0 g MM a whopping 0 grams of protein in a 15 gram serving! ya lets see how much protein you get to be nice and strong! fuckin youtube troll...

  • "Ya if they get cold enough theyll freeze"

    HAhahhaah.

  • this makes the farm i work at seem futuristic.

  • he should modernise his factory ans packing process.Looks so poor.Have a look at the Korean factories.

  • @velusumana they're too industrial in Korea. It's just machines. What kind of work is that? I want to grow mushrooms with no electricity use

  • @footage82 you hsould stop being a dumbass

  • @fatwadmcskylar i have tried... it doesnt work... it only makes me worse :(

  • I wish he had a bit of a "wackier" species :)

  • lol u want Cubensis

  • great vid and info! I wonder if I could produce enuff portobello and shiitake to make it profitable.

  • 45,000 lbs per week! He must be making a mint. This looks like it would be an interesting and profitable business.

  • imagine that only selling magic mushrooms..

  • err...yeah, I 'spose I have, actually. I could also imagine spending the rest of my life in prison...

  • well true that depends on location.

  • at 10 a gram that would be 201,600,000 dollars a week haha i think they should make it so any drug that is naturally occuring in a plant aka pot shrooms etc should be legal and taxed

  • why taxed? Do you think all food crops should be taxed too?

  • alchohol and tobbaco are taxed....and it will need to be in order to pay the employees that will inspect places that grow and sell it and give the permits required and everything else like that

  • alcohol and tobacco are not food crops. Dairy farms, meat processors, vegetable cannerys are all inspected. The inspections are paid by permits given to producers should they meet producer standards at the county, state, and national levels.Food is not taxed with the exception of candy in some states. The food production employees are not paid by taxation. But by the sold produce

  • yes but marijuana and magic mushrooms arent food either....

  • true to a point, They still are both used this way. A favorite brownie ingrediant for many. And I have watched folks ingest/eat special shrooms. Looked like food to me. Alcohol also is a food/ beverage ingrediant take alook at a bottle of vanilla extract for example. No tax on that last I looked.

  • the alchohol tax with that is probably paid for by the company that produces it...

  • Food already gets taxed

  • Very few states tax food. Some states tax some food items

  • 21 states is now very few? How many states are in the US then because I thought there was only 50 states.

  • obama said there is 57 states lol

  • Well, it's less than half.

  • So what does that have to do with my comment about someone talking about Taxes and food?

  • @Ballpythondude420 i think every drug on the planet period. if its really as dangerous as the gov't says it is, then the want will disappear as people die off... otherwise, its not that dangerous

  • The camra man was breathing loud, it creeped me out.

  • Really? it made me kinda horny

  • duhhhhh u stuff these mushrooms cuz they are huge

  • Fascinating clip. I was wondering how large-scale mushroom farming worked and this video was very informative. Shame about the sound dips, but that could not be helped in that noisy environment. Thanks for posting this.

  • I was at a Cajun restaurant several years ago and had a portabello mushroom appetizer that I'm guessing was baked. It was done with some nice-quality cheeses and was one of the most delicious foods I'd ever had. The combo of shroom and cheeses was indescribably good!

  • A chef taught me this a while back. Take a large portabello cap. brush with butter and minced garlic grill and serve bottomside up with blue cheese with a slight melt on.mmmm

  • test

  • what's a nut job

  • someone who does not understand, nor appreciate how much work goes into the production of tasty foods we appreciate in this world

  • what a nut job

  • excellent! last nite i had my first portabello pasta - sea salt, fresh crack pepper, and bariani farms (calif)extra virgin olive oil on portas baked uncovered... simply awesome! tasted like meat! not that it should, or has too, but man what a taste/ texture. i'm trying to convert to veggie, but i luv ribeyes and fish. but i'm sure i can convert many friends/family to portas w/ this recipe. always helpful to educate public with this info/ videos. thanks mucho. 5 of 5
