You said it hurts, its would be your shoulders I would think. Why not buy some cheep padding, and line where its on your shoulders! Just because its awesome doesn't mean it has to be painful to wear :P

TIP: put some LEDS on the visor, i mean arround the visor it would look more like delta also put some of that yellow thing that is in the visor in the LED lamps so it would look like more like the flashlights
