@oomblikkies - then how did snowball earth defrost - CO2 maybe? By "alarmist scientist" you mean the vast majority of climate scientists who actually study the subject?
Continue .... To blame global warming on CO2 is ridiculus. Carbon dioxide has never been a climate driver - not even during periods when earth had up to 10 times more CO2 than today. It is rather ironic that many of today's alarmist scientists all predicted global cooling as recent as 30 years ago. All this current scare mongering comes from unreliable computer models - yes, virtually the same models who can not even predict the weather 14 days ahead - let alone 2 - 20 year into the future.
Another scare mongering video with a lot of false or unproven claims. Not every drought is due to global warming, but it is much rather the result of an El Nino which has nothing to do with global warming. To say the local fynbos plants will become extinct is nonsense. The genetic makeup of plants stretch over millions of years during which they have survived cycles of many hot and cold climates.
