But that's also what made Sting so great, he'd come down from the rafter while the nWo's stomping out some WCW guys, and he'd get in their and clean house. Goldberg probably could have done it but he didn't beef with the nWo til the Wolfpac broke off, so the numbers weren't as great.

Yes it could have been done but before the horsemen there were no stables in wrestling who worked together. You had the Heenan family but they were seperate. They started the stable trend. They are pioneers and if you grew up watching it it was the 1st time anything like that had ever happened so it was big. The early NWO just took it to the next level.
