You know, I don't believe they use the signs anymore. More than likely, the light was disconnected when they closed Chelyan Elementary. I was up at Chelyan the other day when East Bank got called out for a structure fire and I never saw the light activate. Turns out that there wasn't anything to the structure fire, just somebody burning trash behind their house.
And I just realized those old school entrance signs are still there. Guess they haven't seen a need to remove them. Unless they're used when a fire truck or deputy comes out in a hurry, but I've never been at that point and seen one come out ready for action, so not sure.

I like getting the horns.
