I doubt it kobe19840115. I think Namgyal la would be welcomed within the time it takes between one heartbeat and the next. It is not unusual however for the CCP and it's sympathizers to be completely incorrect about the true sentiments of the Tibetan people.

Accounts indicate the CCP leadership fully expected the Tibetan people to express their contentment with conditions there and even express distain and dislike toward the delegations. Does a Tibetan having the right to speak as he feels is right trouble you? It certainly seems to trouble the CCP. So much so that their soldiers shoot into crowds of unarmed peacefully protesting people killing men, women, children, monks, elders...

Fear is a strange thing markpm001. It makes people do strange and terrible things that alienate them from their own being. You may find that contemplating it in your own mind could be useful.
