Elizabeth Frasier"s voice has gently and benignly invaded my mind. After a week of listening to all the available covers by many artists, I find myself returning here most. Tim Buckley's original from 1970 is another remarkable rendition, second, in my mind, only to this. This Mortal Coil, in which Elizabeth also does the vocal, is also noteworthy. I believe it is the first choice amongst most other listeners and was used in the movie The Lovely Bones. Most of the other versions are pedestrian.

regarding the lyrics, Tim Buckley, who wrote the song, had several different versions of the lyrics... This is simply one of his versions...
