Why is everyone hating about this? It's not like they're going to re-record EVERY album that had ZP on it and replace it with Marc's voice! The only reason why they even played this song with Marc was because:

1- Only one song from their new album had been perfected

2- If they hadn't everyone would be bitching about how they didn't play any 'classic' Dragonforce, or that they had forgotten it.

The song is popular. They don't have ZP to sing it anymore. So Marc had to sing it. Deal with it.

As worried as people are, their are alot of variables in this. This was his first gig, supporting IRON MAIDEN, that is no mean feat for any singer. ALSO comparing him to ZP isn't right, he's alot younger that ZP and he's not from the same country, ZP sang his words alot different. I can't wait for the new album!

this guys got some major fucking pipes! i think any worries will be squashed once this album is released, ZP was brilliant, but live, not so much sometimes. iced earth had similar issues. stu block for example, when he was announced everyone was like "meh, bring back barlow" but actually, stu is brilliantt, once the album came out, nobody could ever criticize him. now give this guy a chance, hes just getting started. let him get used to the band, and wait for the album before you go judging him.

They simply cannot play live at all, and I have seem them live, twice. Definitly not getting all the hate... there are many bands that suck A LOT more live then Dragonforce. I think they are doing decent. Not extremely good, but also not extremely bad. Also, they're new singer may be "flat", he doesn't sing off key, doesn't fuck up timing, and does a great job overall. He's DIFFERENT from there old vocalist, but definitly not worse!

Hm, while both Marc and ZP are flawed live, as I see it, Marc is a young singer with loads of potential, and he seems like an energetic but still modest performer and a good person. ZP on the other hand is a washed up, old singer, slowly ruining his once great voice with drinking and smoking and losing fans by acting like a douche on stage. So I think Marc was the right choice.

(Also Marc actually sings the right lyrics instead of ZP's "Here we stand with our dicks in our hands".)

@windwakeroftime Well, he wasn't AWFUL, per say, but his voice was having a lot of problems. Hell, the band had to downtune just to accommodate him. Marc was a bit pitchy, and probably extremely nervous (his only experience beforehand was playing in pubs and such), but his voice was incredibly strong and he hit the notes hard and kept up with the band. He did pretty solid in my opinion.
