Playing a drum painted with a Flower of Life to the Schumann resonance, it hardly gets more sacred. I believe there was a special energy emanating from that circle of people?
Sounds pretty cool, it's my first drum ever! Was about time, with all the psychedelics and trips telling me to start drumming :)
I used 4 pieces of.. whad do you call those segments of wooden floor ? I don't know the word in English. Anyway it works, it's very cheap, and the next one will have ornaments on it, sacred geometry, you name it. Will also try a triangular one, see how that sounds.
Recommended, totally worth it, make one for your kid, awesome gift :)
My sister made one...I haven't made mine yet...& it looks & sounds great! It got a lot of attention & positive feed back at church. Thank you, Charles & Baba Jubal! Namaste'!

Give thanks! Baba you are a blessing. My daughter and I are going to do this today. It is amazing that my 5 yr. old is so intrigued by geometry. This show how natural it is. Thank you Charles, all of your videos can be watched and understood by me and my daughter and to teach to all ages is a gift. Give thanks!
My sister and I got the supplies to make one. I haven't made my drum yet, but she has made hers. It was easy and it looks and sounds great. We got all the supplies for about $6 for 2 drums! I'm not kidding. Having no drum or no money to buy a drum is no excuse for not drumming. :)
Regarding your question: "But what is the stick made out of?".
You can use many different kinds of tools to play this kind of Frame Drum including your hands. But to keep it very simple and inexpensive, Baba recommends wooden dowels cut to about 15 inches long.
Thank you for this elegant simplicity. We have a drum circle here in Barrie, Ontario, Canada called EARTHDRUM It has been going now for 10 years and was started by a woman named Annemarie Heintze in her little studio on Toronto Street. Many people have come and gone in this circle, people have played in seniors homes, for children, at the local city hall and more. It is always appreciated and I hope it keeps going forever...a wonderful way to connect..
We just received an email related to this video which I just HAD to share. Here's a quote from that email:
"I watched it with my 5 year old daughter and we both enjoyed it so much, you know it's powerful when a five year old looks up at you and says . . . B E A U T I F U L !"

agree, and drums are easy to play, how odd is that? anyone can actually play a drum. where you have to learn to play other instruments.
