Wow, you're beaking it too big!! To be a real xi'anese person, you need to break it really small!! You're putting too much chili, its gonna make it too salty (its flavoured chili). Lol, I dunno how many times I've been to that restaurant.
Well,I grew up in Xi'an,so I should feel confident to say that there isn't really that obvious an distinction between whether it's muslin or Han Chinese,it's great food and people do love it there, and that is regarded as Chinese food.
better f**k me dead!!! it's not even chinese food, it's muslim food. ordinary Han chinese wouldnt go for that kind of food(if you happened to have sneaked behind those muslim kitchens, you will know what i mean), i bet the tour guide took you to the place......beware of the soup,I dont really want to tell you what's actually in it...
have u ever goto china, have u ever goto this particular resturants? I bet not. Im sory to tell u tht, it is chinese food, which turmandisly popular in north west part of china.
its just some gourmet lamb soup, u will never ever forget in u whole life once u try it.
excuse me? My uncle is the manager of the whole chain of restaurants in Xi'an and I can assure you that is prefectly safe. Unless of course you have no money and have to go to one of the corner restaurants. Muslim or not, han people still enjoy it immensely. The Muslims have been in China for hundreds/thousands of years, so that would be considered as Chinese food. =D

Damn, I really wanted to try this dish when I was in Xi'an, but I was so sick from a week in Tibet that I mostly ate at McDonalds. Sad but true.
