the extent of the hellenic influence is probably more than we know..... my aunt and i are greek and she told me that she went on a trip and went through i think it was cambodia or vietnam and she visited a village and the people living there had greek style dancing and even in their language, my aunt picked up some very vague greek words.... i once also heard about judo, that it was possible that a greek from alexander's army could have taught locals wrestling... just makes you wonder...

fantastic music, but this is not a clean, proper track - its just someone who has tried to filter out the voices and sound effects from the movie. You can still hear them faintly and the quality of the music is awful. Why wont Vangelis release the whole Alexander score properly???? Grrrrrrrrr.

Man, you could feel Alexander's hurt and frustration during this scene. When he realized that he could no longer go on, and that his dream to see what was over that horizon would never come. You almost felt that weariness and tiredness portrayed by those actors as they hopelessly tries to reach the unreachable.. Amazing film, and totally underrated.
