Tech is a world-class academic institution with very good athletic teams most of the time, but to me, is a cross between MIT and UGA. I'm not a Tech basher because I grew up in NJ but did go to UGA. I almost went to Tech but to be honest, was worried about all of that advanced mathematics, and found the UGA campus to be prettier.
