I did it myself. I actually wrote a Coldplay Clocks midi file using Cakewalk Sonar, made the midi a few years ago. And then I put it into FL_Studio, and changed the sounds around to 8 bit, square/triangle wave and added sampled piano drums from Super Mario Bros 3. Bingo, you have your NES version!
whoever did this has some talent in 8bit. i know they stole the song, but still its ported well. They should do some original stuff, maybe sell it for the DS or something.
