Where do you have these high detailed maps from? They seem to be customized with your trails and symbols? I would like to do a similar trip in the archipelago with my packraft. But for that, I am still looking for good maps including tips where to find drinking water. I would appreciate your help.
Awesome video. I am jealous, and want to take a trip like that. When the waltzing music came on and Moski was spinning, it reminded me of something from 2001 A Space Odyssey. Good job looks like it was a blast.
@DoTheNeedful thanks. Glad you got that impression on the waltz, because that's exactly what came to my mind when I was reviewing the clips I'd taken. Then the challenge was to find a soundtrack of the Blue Danube Waltz that wouldn't get the video pulled by youtube for copy-right enfringement!
@ProfessorHammock He's a Swede - what do you expect. ;) I hope you will come back to Sweden and with some of our friends from the forum. Bring Shug along, we can need his singing and entertainment. :D
Would be a lot of fun to hike in the woods with you. So don't be a stranger and bring som friends along for the hike next time.
Grizz: sweetness! I envy ur trip, except those inflatables. Whirling dervishes more than forward motion (such as in sea kayaks). You did well, given what u needed to use in the circumstances.
@coolkayaker1 whirling dervish is a good description. Best probably in a current, so long as you're going with it! No such thing as a backpackable sea kayak though.
You lucky dog , I mean grizz, I would like to try pack rafting and on a lake or lazy river or easy rapids nothing major. . What a remarkable place to take a trip, even though you didn't show any of the Swedish bikini team :-)
@medicjimr the packrafts were definitely a fun way to scoot around. Not very aerodynamic though---tough paddling into the wind. But down a current or calm water, definitely fun.
@troyr322 the waltz music suggested itself to me only as I was reviewing my footage and notice how much of it was us slowly drifting and spinning. Turns out to be really really hard finding royalty free classical music that is also free....what is on is an old recording that has passed out of copyright. Glad you liked it!
@widerstand sure did. The Archipelago is actually a pretty settled place, popular for summer homes and I can see why. The areas where we could camp were great. Views, good hanging trees...
Man, you left me green with envy.
Cheers

Didn't know you were coming. Though I haven't been so active on the forum lately.
Hope you liked the nature and the freedom to roam. :D

@maadination he's a natural actor, don't you think? Took to the camera immediately. I really did like roaming about the islands, thanks.

Love the classical music that reminds me of childhood cartoons. Oh the little boy in me is so jealous.
