@117E7ST4A I think they are using the blx 95 sq. in. head, not the blx 6-1 90 sq. in. head. Actually, they might be the blx 6-1 tour 90 sq. in. head, the same as federers. 3 out of 4 people are using the same racquet on the court. I got this racquet and it is amazing but a bit heavy.
As much as I love the energy of college tennis, the fans that are obnoxious tend to be amplified since there are less of them, so the annoying ones tend to stick out...
@JonnySV A lot of them are not "tennis" fans. They are there to represent the school / friends / family. Anyhow davis cup has the same situation. Lots more people but the cheering is way over the top.
@JonnySV same thing happens at davis cup. A lot of people are not "tennis "fans. They are fans of the school / friends that are playing / etc. Many of the players go over the top I think too. I mean the "come on" around 4 min in this video after a double fault (even though it was a break)... Im not complaining but it does get annoying.
@thegarbageman21 Agreed about the players too. I feel the difference between Davis Cup fans and these types of fans is that there is more of a constant noise factor with Davis Cup, and it's more difficult to pick out specific voices, whilst in college tennis, you hear the same voices constantly (if you get what I'm saying).
@JonnySV very true. The support is great but the clearly heard comments after each point can get agitating. Would probably be better to have a constant roar like davis cup.
@greyrabbit1992 I just got done editing the singles video this morning and I'm in the process of uploading the video. It should take about 10 hours to upload to You tube and it should be up by tomorrow afternoon. The singles video is the complete match of Steve Johnson (#1 college player in the nation and local favorite from OC) Vs Daniel Kosakowski (our local favorite player from Downey). It's next to impossible to move around Straus Stadium since it's a cross town rival.
there is something so wrong about americans playing tennis, they ruin the spirit of the game
