HI TM048 i would say these radios are worth a shot! Basically i would rate them at 8/10. But mind you they don't have the features like Yaesu doe etc. It is a cheap and chearful rig that will get you on the air

thanks 4 reply,iv got a ts570dge kenwood,ranger 2995dx,and a magnum s9,which are all cracking radios,always liked the look of these alincos,so an 8.10 is good enough,many thanks for that,all the best,rich.26tm048.

Great vid and the DX-70 was doing a great job. I have a DX-70 too, but mine may be up for sale soon :-(

You never know, I may even get to keep the DX-70, I don't really want it to go as it's a great radio, it's so good they still sell it today. Cheer's.

Had one of these radios a few years ago had to get rid of it But i remember that it was superb on side band triple 5

I'd buy alinco but guys say there customer service sucks. But they have nice radios
